Ms. Andrea (our nanny) taught Parker how to make Nutella Pastries. They are quite good -- really, anytime we can have chocolate for breakfast Parker and I pretty much agree this is a good thing! So last weekend Parker taught me how to make them.

First we have to heat the oven -- 160C -- using the Above and Below heating option.
Our oven is German...luckily I enjoy history and novels set in WWII time so am familiar with Ober and Unter. :)

Next we gather our supplies

Then we cut the pastry into squares.
Parker directed me to cut 4 by 5 as this creates the best sized pastry.

Now for the good part - adding the nutella!

Can't add too much nutella or you won't be able to fold them in half....

Parker buttered up the pan for us

Next we folded them all in half - being sure to seal the edges - and brushed each with egg.

Cooking
And a look inside our oven...yes, it's small...some of my pans won't even fit. But we can still cook the same recipes - I just divide the food into 2 smaller pans and cook one after the other.

Finished product! Yummy!
